V. 2024_06_01

At iNovaland, we recognize and respect the inherent dignity and equal rights of all individuals. Upholding human rights is not just a legal obligation but a moral imperative that guides our actions and decisions as an organization. We are committed to promoting and protecting human rights within our sphere of influence, including our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities where we operate. Our policy on human rights outlines our principles and commitments in this regard:

  1. Commitment to Human Rights: We are committed to upholding the fundamental human rights of all individuals, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other relevant international human rights instruments. We recognize our responsibility to respect human rights in all aspects of our operations and throughout our supply chain.

  2. Prohibition of Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery: We strictly prohibit all forms of human trafficking and modern slavery in our operations and supply chain. This includes, but is not limited to, forced labour, child labour, debt bondage, and involuntary servitude. We do not tolerate any actions or practices that exploit individuals for labour or any other purpose.

  3. Child Labor and Forced Labor: We unequivocally oppose the use of child labour, under the age of 15, and forced labour, and we adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to labour practices.

  4. Non-Discrimination: We are dedicated to creating a workplace free from discrimination based on race, colour, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.

  5. Equal Opportunities: We provide equal opportunities for all employees in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, compensation, and other employment related practices, based on merit and qualifications, without regard to any protected characteristic.

  6. Safe and Respectful Workplace: We strive to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or any form of abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  7. Freedom of Association: We respect the rights of our employees to join or not to join trade unions or other lawful organizations of their choice, and we engage in constructive dialogue with employee representatives to address workplace concerns.

  8. Fair Wages and Benefits: We ensure that our employees receive fair wages and benefits that meet or exceed legal requirements and industry standards, enabling them to meet their basic needs and improve their quality of life.

  9. Supplier Responsibility: We expect our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to adhere to the principles of human rights outlined in this policy. We require all suppliers, contractors and business partners to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which explicitly prohibits human trafficking, modern slavery and child labour. We collaborate with them to ensure that our supply chain upholds ethical labour practices and respects human rights.

  10. Community Engagement: We engage with local communities to understand their needs and concerns, and we strive to contribute positively to their social and economic development while respecting their cultural identity and human rights.

  11. Training and Awareness: We provide training and resources to our employees, managers, and relevant stakeholders to raise awareness of human rights issues and empower them to uphold these principles in their daily activities.

  12. Continuous Improvement: We regularly review and evaluate our human rights practices to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address any shortcomings.

At iNovaland, we are committed to integrating human rights considerations into all aspects of our operations and business decisions, reflecting our core values of integrity, respect, and responsibility. By upholding these principles, we contribute to a more just, equitable, and sustainable world for present and future generations.

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders associated with iNovaland and is communicated to them through various channels, including our website, employee handbooks, training programs, and contractual agreements.
