iNovaland® establishes roots in Brazil to better serve communities and stakeholders to restore degraded forests and empower communities

São Paulo, Brazil iNovaland®, an international forest restoration organization, has officially established a permanent presence in Brazil with the launch of iNovaland Brasil Ltda.

For nearly four years, iNovaland® has been working in Brazil, collaborating with smallholder farmers, businesses, governments, and funders to deliver impactful projects. With a dedicated local team, iNovaland Brasil will strengthen this commitment and deepen its expertise to tackle environmental challenges and empower communities.

“Brazil’s vast landscapes hold immense potential for restoration,” says Márcio Braga, Director of iNovaland Brasil. “Our proven bottom-up approach, successfully implemented in southern Bahia’s FASB program, empowers local communities, farmers, and private partners to restore ecosystems and build resilience. iNovaland Brasil brings this successful model to the entire country.”

The immediate focus of iNovaland Brasil is spearheading the implementation of the FASB Forest Corridor programme which aims to establish a vital ecological corridor connecting 150,000 hectares of fragmented Atlantic Forest remnants in the Hileia Baiana region, from north of Espírito Santo to south of Bahia states.
