We are pleased to announce the newest partnership to raise funds for projects in forest restoration with native species in the Atlantic Forest and sustainable land use in the Atlantic Forest Central Corridor.
On Monday, September 25, iNovaLand Investment Limited and the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), one of Brazil’s most important investment institutions, held a meeting to seal a partnership within the scope of each institution’s respective projects: Floresta Viva and Fundo Ambiental Sul Baiano (FASB), which aim to restore Brazilian biomes.
An investment commitment of up to R$15 million, with up to R$7.5 million from each. The partnership aims to contribute to increasing vegetation cover in the south and far south of Bahia and the north of Espírito Santo, two Brazilian states, and will also help strengthen the production chain in the ecological restoration sector.
The funds will be allocated from the next call for projects promoted by the FASB.
